Two existing buildings in an uncomfortable relationship. One classical and the other proudly affirming its modernism, yet both built in the seventies. A labyrinthine circulation and a hodgepodge of mismatched levels. We propose a surgical cut and the insertion of a thin volume, squeezed between the two existing structures. The new core connects all levels and provides a new address on the street. Replacing 5% of the built substance to simplify and reactivate the remaining 95%. A clean cut that leaves us craving a club sandwich.
