Addition of winter gardens on a village house

The owners want to offer their tenants a space that they can enjoy during the long winters in the valley. Our approach is direct. The structure closely follows the building lines to create the most generous space possible. The angled metal pipes are embedded into the ground and held by two steel screws that serve as the foundation.

The metal grates of the floors are filled with transparent resin that is poured onto an irregular formwork. In this way, light and view are separated from each other, with one passing through and the other becoming blurred.
