The Textile Museum in St. Gallen needed more space to exhibit its fragile large-scale textile pieces. We proposed an extension on the roof of the existing building with a lightbox on top, acting like a lantern. Inside, the soft curves of the draped textile create a diffuse light that protects the fragile art pieces.
